Opened in 2009, Same Same but different has been acquired by Dentsu Aegis Network (parent to McGarryBowen). As the newest member of Dentsu Aegis’s global advertising agency network, Same Same will be rebranded as McGarryBowen Luxury, a new division for McGarryBowen. This will establish their first foray into both the luxury brand practice and, well, France.
Same Same but different has a luxury client roster that includes Louis Vuitton, Van Clef & Arpels, L’Oréal, and Bonpoint to name a few. They are considered a high-powered, fast-growing shop with additional locations in Shanghai, New York, and Hong Kong. Same Same has a team of 150 that specialize on implementing effective digital brand campaigns, specific to the luxury sector and premium brands.
