Revieve, a global market leader in helping beauty brands and retailers personalize the beauty-shopping experience online, has launched its Personalized Beauty experience on Facebook Messenger. The solution enables discovery and purchase of beauty products for e-commerce shoppers. Beauty brands and retailers provide personalized beauty recommendations and sell individually recommended beauty products directly from their Facebook pages using shopper selfies.
“Retailers and beauty brands face a large challenge in trying to provide shoppers with all the necessary information needed to make a purchase on their site alone. It’s simply too easy today for the shopper to open another browser tab and Google. And when they do, you’ve lost them. We see adding beauty product personalization solution directly onto the Facebook pages of brands and retailers, where shoppers are already interacting with their favorite retailers and brands, as extremely important in counteracting this behavior. The interactive chat-type experience we have built ensures that the shopper receives personalized knowledge about their skin and individualized product recommendations from the brands’ or retailers’ selection directly in a channel they already use, without needing to visit the e-commerce site,”explains Revieve CEO Sampo Parkkinen.
“We believe information sharing and education are at the heart of a great beauty shopping experience online. Through helping our brand and retail customers in providing personalized beauty tips and product recommendations directly on social media with the ability for shoppers to purchase products there and then, we’re providing them with the tools they need to compete in the coming years,” continues Parkkinen.
The Revieve Personalized Beauty on Messenger experience is currently available across North America, Europe, and Asia and can be seamlessly integrated with retailers’ or beauty brands’ existing Facebook pages.
