Innovation and creativity often come from youth, where there are no preconceived ideas of what’s possible or constraints related to commercialization. Aesop collaborated with Swiss university ÉCAL Advanced Studies in Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship masters course, briefing 17 graduate students to design two accessories: an electric essential oil burner and a wash bag.

The parameters for the project were that the products must be aesthetically pleasing, inventive, and sustainable.
