method has partnered with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art to launch the method x SFMOMA “Glass for Good” bottle inspired by the iconic method teardrop hand wash bottle.
The intent behind the “Glass for Good” bottle was for it be refilled and reused. The bottle was thoughtfully designed inside and out, made from faceted glass with copper accents and filled with method’s signature naturally derived, biodegradable formula in the brand’s fragrance violet noir.
“As we thought about how to approach method’s first glass bottle in collaboration with such a distinguished partner as SFMOMA, I wanted the design to draw a strong link to nature,” method designer Sean McGreevy said in a statement. “The end result was heavily inspired by gems and how they are cut in a way that maximizes reflections and internal luminosity.”
The method x SFMOMA “Glass for Good” limited-edition bottle will be available exclusively through the SFMOMA Museum Store. All proceeds from the sale of the 5,000 piece limited-edition run will directly benefit SFMOMA’s arts education programs.
