In Brands, Retail

Conceptualized by founders Nadine Abramcyk, Jaclyn Ferber, and Adair Ilyinsky, the tenoverten brand was created to provide their Tribeca (NYC) neighborhood with a different kind of nail salon, offering healthy, non-toxic services. The nail polish and nail care collections launched a year later in 2011 and has grown to include 24 8-free nail polishes and five non-toxic nail care products. Now the brand is bringing their brand of conscious nail care nationwide in a 800-door Target rollout.

“Our priority has long to been to get safer nail care into the homes of as many people as possible, and we are thrilled with the opportunity to partner with Target to affect positive change in people’s daily routines,” said tenoverten co-founder Nadine Abramcyk. “While many people shop beauty online or in their local salons, we’ve found many who are looking for safer, better-for-you beauty options to be readily available, along with other personal care and household needs. We are excited by Target’s ability to deliver our message of conscious nail care in this type of convenience driven shopping environment.”

Target will stock 24 tenoverten nail polishes priced at $12 each, all of which are 8-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and made in the USA in a factory that honors the Leaping Bunny Program manifesto.
