On the heels of their unicorn status and $100 million Series D funding round, Glossier opens a Miami pop-up inspired by the city’s architecture, retro vibes, and beach scene.
Glossier’s experiential designer Madelynn Ringo brought the destination to life, drawing inspiration from Miami’s architecture and lively beach scene. “We checked out the murals and vibrant street life of the Wynwood Arts District, walked down Ocean Avenue, studied the façades of the city’s most iconic hotels, and fell in love with the tropical fruit carts in Little Havana,” Ringo told Architectural Digest.
To celebrate Miami Pride on April 5, the pop-up is hosting a special event from 7–9 p.m. where they will donate 50 percent of their proceeds to Lambda Legal, the defense organization that fights for the rights of LGBTQ people and everyone living with HIV. They will also be selling a limited-edition Glossier Miami keychain, with $5 from every keychain sold also going to Lambda Legal.
Glossier Miami, 222 NW 26th Street, open March 27 through April 28.
