Aland, founded by sisters Kinam Jung and Jung Eun Jung in 2005, is a multi-concept store that offers a variety of affordable fashion basics and curated products by emerging and independent Korean designers, most of which will be exclusive to the US. Products range from men’s and women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories, to home décor, and beauty and wellness products.

The 10,000-square-foot Aland location at American Dream is set to open in October 2019. This location will serve as a flagship  for the brand. This is Aland’s first store in New Jersey and its second in the US—the first opened in Brooklyn last summer. Aland currently operates more than 20 stores in Korea, with additional locations in Hong Kong and Thailand.

“American Dream is a destination for discovery,” said Don Ghermezian, CEO, American Dream. “Seoul has become an international fashion capital, known for its thriving street style. Aland will provide guests from near and far the opportunity to discover new, emerging Korean labels that they cannot find anywhere else, making it perfectly poised for American Dream.”

“At Aland, our goal is to deliver fresh trends in the most compelling ways to a new customer,” said Kinam Jung, cofounder, Aland. “We look forward to opening a flagship location at American Dream, where guests from New Jersey and the New York metro-area and around the world can shop for a highly curated selection of affordable basics, as well as learn about rising independent Korean designers. And not just that! While K-Pop has become mainstream cultural phenomena, customers can find popular items worn by BTS, Blackpink, Monster X, and etc. ÅLAND will be the go-to-place for those who love K-Culture.”
