Target is looking for the next crop of start-ups for its third accelerator. The Target Takeoff Beauty 2020 program brings up-and-coming start-ups to Minneapolis to learn the ins and outs of mass retail.
The program is set up as an abbreviated accelerator with a product-centric focus that will deepen retail knowledge without a 3-4 month commitment. Both virtual and live workshops and mentoring help start-ups navigate launching, scaling, and accelerating market readiness.
Each accelerator class consists of ten brands with less than $10 million in revenue. Check the previous accelerator classes between 2019 and 2018. Oars + Alps was part of the first group of beauty brands in 2018 and was acquired by SC Johnson for a reported $20 million this fall.
