Pulleez International, an Amazon-based hair accessories business, has received a minority investment from Pharmapacks.

WHO: Diana Wright created Pulleez out of necessity. As a fashion show producer, she needed something that would gently pull models’ hair back while they were getting makeup done backstage. The open-ended elastics with a sliding mechanism to adjust and hold hair in place without causing damage were an immediate hit. The brand just launched a line, Pulleez Plus, that creates hair accessories for natural, curly, and textured hair. The hair ties are sold on Amazon.

Pharmapacks is an e-commerce business that provides a technology platform for brands to handle logistics, fulfillment, marketing, and sales. The group sells on its own website, and also through Amazon, Walmart, and eBay.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: “The Pulleez Plus line of hair accessories was inspired by the women in our company who have evolving and diverse hair needs,” said Adam Berkowitz, Pharmapacks’ Chief Operating Officer. “With Pharmapacks’ and Pulleez’s collective focus on serving the global beauty needs of multicultural women, we are thrilled to begin our new partnership in a common mission to deliver innovative, quality products.”
