Anjac Health & Beauty has acquired Normandy-based manufacturer Roval Cosmétiques.
WHO: Roval Cosmétiques is a 40-year-old French family-owned manufacturing business with Ecocert certification to make organic beauty products. The business specializes in making hygiene products, haircare, and perfume. The Normandy-based company also has a production facility in Spain near Barcelona.
Founded in 2008, Anjac Health & Beauty offers a full range of contract development and manufacturing services, from concept and product development to analytical testing, industrial scale-up, regulatory approval, and lifecycle management.
WHY: The acquisition of Roval Cosmétiques will help it to become a strong player in France’s health and beauty sector. This deal will “add to the know-how and increase the capacity of Anjac Health & Beauty Group.”

- According to WWD, Roval had about 100 million euros in turnover in 2019, and has 400 employees.
- Anjac expects its own turnover to grow to about 400 million euros with this deal.
- The acquisition of Roval follows several other purchases, including Innovi, Pascual Cosmétiques and Aircos in Spain, Feltor Laboratories in Spain, and Cosmetix West in California.
