NYC-based apothecary Anima Mundi acquired Floracopeia, an iconic essential oil company co-founded by pioneering leader David Crow, one of the world’s leading experts and speakers in botanical medicine and grassroots healthcare.
WHO: Founded in 2004 by master herbalist, aromatherapist, and acupuncturist David Crow, Floracopeia supplies botanical medicine, holistic beauty, and sustainable skincare products created from the highest-quality, ethically harvested botanical ingredients.
Anima Mundi is an apothecary devoted to making vibrant and medicinally potent remedies that honor the principles of harmony and ancient formulation with years of anecdotal and traditional evidence. Founder and herbalist Adriana Ayales moved to Brooklyn from Costa Rica with a mission to bridge remedies from native people within Central and South America to modern-day needs and imbalances. Anima Mundi has three locations: NYC SoHo and Brooklyn, and Los Angeles in Venice Beach.
WHY: David Crow was contemplating closing Floracopeia and Anima Mundi stepped in to continue David’s legacy.
