House of M Beauty

The luxury saffron skincare brand House of M Beauty secured its first outside funding from female angel investors within the Vietnamese community.

WHO: Saffron-infused skincare brand House of M Beauty was founded by Vietnamese immigrant Anne Oliver in 2019. The brand uses Super Negin Saffron in its product formulas, a unique, super antioxidant ingredient high in vitamin C with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. The brand is available in Nordstrom and over 200 boutique stores, nail salons, and retailers worldwide.

WHY: The brand will use the investment to expand the brand’s reach and points of distribution as well as launch a new mask, balm, cleanser, and candle.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: “For us, the first seed round I wanted to keep within the Vietnamese community as a way to give back to them, for all of the times that they have whole-heartedly supported us for the past 4 years,” explains Oliver in a statement.

DETAILS:

  • House of M Beauty closed $2 million in seed funding from female angel investors within the Vietnamese community.
  • The brand has been self-funded organically, scaling to $2.56 million in revenue since launch.
  • The goal is to reach $5 million in funding by the end of the seed round.
