The Crown Affair is on a mission to make haircare a daily ritual, landing $1.7 million in seed funding led by Brand Foundry. The brand is expected to launch this month.

WHO: Haircare brand the Crown Affair, founded by Dianna Cohen, is grounded on empowering people to redefine their relationship with their hair through accessible luxury products, guidance, and community. The brand will launch with a collection of four post-wash essentials: The Brush, The Comb, The Towel, and The Oil. These products form the foundation of any healthy haircare routine and are designed to work together to enhance any texture, length, or style.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: “Everyone wants healthy, beautiful hair, but most products on the market can actually damage your hair over time, and the best quality products are prohibitively expensive,” says founder Dianna Cohen. “It’s time for a change.”

“We’ve followed Dianna’s journey for a while and have been struck by her unique approach to brand,” says Andrew Mitchell, General Partner at Brand Foundry. “We’re excited to play a part in her latest venture.”
