VITAMIN SUBSCRIPTION START-UP CUURE SECURES €1.8MM SEED INVESTMENT

Paris-based health start-up Cuure has raised €1.8MM in funding from Kima Ventures and Newfund Ventures.

WHO: Paris-based health start-up Cuure was launched in 2019 by Hugo Facchin and Jules Marcilhacy. The company specializes in personalized vitamin subscription boxes. Customers answer an online questionnaire and then receive 30 sachets each containing 2-8 food supplements to be taken daily.

WHY: The capital will help the company expand its customer base from France to Europe, with an initial focus on Western Europe, before expanding into other wellness categories.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: “The idea is to embrace the cycles of consumer needs. One of the objectives is also to be able to reinforce the monitoring experience, in particular via the application that we are developing, in order to optimize the efficiency of the treatment,” explained co-founder Hugo Facchin.

  • The start-up reportedly has approximately 10,000 unique customers and a small team of 11 headquartered in France.
