You guessed it—another celebrity brand is in the works. This week news came that Scarlett Johansson is launching a beauty brand founded by The Najafi Companies, the investors behind Pattern by Tracee Ellis Ross, Moon Oral Care, Beach House Group, and Florence by Mills, set to launch in early 2022. Chanel takes the launch of the week with its Chanel No. 5 Factory Collection in celebration of the iconic scents 100 year anniversary.

SIIA: This newly launched direct-to-consumer brand was founded by Megan Rein, Simon Jeon, and Hicham Khodri with the mission to democratize luxury beauty. Powered by Korean ultrasonic extraction technology that preserves bioactive compounds, Siia’s range of high-performance skincare-first cosmetics brand isn't just streamlining the beauty routine—it's on a mission to democratize luxury beauty. The full range of hybrid color products is priced from $15-$30.

Minori: a new brand bootstrapped by IPSY alum and beauty veteran Anastasia Bezrukova, was founded to take the guesswork out of beauty. The curated selection of essential everyday products is consciously formulated to meet or exceed the standards put forth by Clean at Sephora, Credo, and The Detox Market. Inspired by the KonMari method, and a certified Marie Kondo consultant, Anastasia founded Minori with the mission of promoting mindful consumption of beauty as a path to sustainability, represented in the intentional launch of just three items: cream highlighter, cream blush, and a lip gloss. The brand will launch DTC on MyMinori.com, and will have an exclusive partnership with The Detox Market beginning in July.

Limited Editions:

Chanel No.5: In celebration of the fragrance's 100th anniversary, the iconic scent that has become synonymous with luxury beauty has launched a covetable limited edition packaged in everyday utilitarian packaging. When Gabrielle Chanel created No.5 in 1921, she put it in a lab bottle with the name originating from the fact it was the fifth sample that her master perfumer Ernest Beaux presented her. Thomas du Pre de Saint Maur, Chanel’s head of global creative resources fragrance and beauty, was inspired by the concept of turning functionality into luxury that gave birth to the beauty capsule. The Factory Collection consists of seventeen products with packaging segmented into three design themes: a paint atelier, a garage and a kitchen. Pop-ups will support the limited-edition collection in eight cities worldwide. The product will also be available in Chanel’s fragrance beauty boutiques, 32 of its fashion stores, and online platforms.
