Cutis By Dr. Vali

As we head into the holiday season, professional experience, science, and sustainability are the connective thread for the new brand launches in this week's roundup.

Cutis By Dr. Vali: Leading London-based cosmetic dermatologist Dr Vali, founder of the exclusive medical wellness spa LMS Wellness—only accessible by invitation—launched her micro-contouring tool (£525) at Selfridges. According to the brand, the steel and medical-grade composite Cutis will be the most powerful sculpting tool available, delivering up to 14,400 oscillations per minute operating across five game-changing protocols, Depuffing, Radiance, Lifting and Tightening, Tension Relief, and Micro-Contouring working, across the five anatomical planes.

In February 2022, Dr. Vali will launch a By Dr. Vali destination at Selfridges, Oxford Street, offering a bespoke menu of treatments to optimize medical wellness and state of mind as well as personalized, advanced skin engineering from biohacking to functional optimization. An edit of By Dr. Vali skincare products will also be available for the first time.

Joanna Czech Skincare: With over 35 years of experience and frequent travel between her studios and international locations, renowned esthetician Joanna Czech often refers to herself in jest as a “flight attendant." Czech believes in an approach that incorporates a seasonal regimen and a healthy lifestyle rather than short-term quick fixes. After years of curating skincare routines and decanting favorite products for her celebrity clientele, she's launched her own product range. The Kit ($1,320) consists of seven essential products housed in a chic padded navy pouch created to support the skin in any climate and condition. Czech worked with a cosmetic chemist who used to be a pharmacologist on the formulas, and with School House on the branding and packaging.

Syster: The Italian beauty box start-up Abiby is launching a brand created in collaboration with its community of 60,000 beauty lovers. The result is a vegan and cruelty-free brand of skincare and haircare products that target lifestyles rather than conditions. Syster's inaugural range includes five multifunctional, AHA fruit acid-based products, including a toner, a hydrating biphasic makeup remover, a face cream and serum, a 10-in-1 serum for hair, and a cleansing and conditioning duo for hair. The brand has two more ranges in the pipeline to launch in 2022.

SuperMush: Alli Schaper and Brian Friedman launched the functional mushroom brand inspired by the belief that mushrooms have the power to change the world, as well as Multiverse, the first and only mushroom-focused wellness marketplace. SuperMush launched with three inaugural SKU—Energy, Immunity, and Chill—which all harness the power of buccal absorption by delivering the product in an easy, delicious-tasting spray, each priced at $27.

Inclusev London: The new brand that believes in breaking boundaries one product at a time. Its debut collection, Add Aqua, consists of concentrated powders that eliminate waste (handwash, bodywash, facewash, and shampoo). Each powder-to-foam formula is crafted without water with natural, biodegradable, sustainably sourced, plant-derived ingredients delivering 4x the number of washes compared to a liquid product.

PRODUCT LAUNCH

Red Flower: Harness the euphoric power of attar of orange, the sweetly narcotic bloomer of the night with the brand's latest launch. Midnight ($65) is a perfumed therapeutic attar concentrated in oil for sensory impact to access the hour of transcendence between dawn and dusk. The blend of steam-distilled neroli and a mood-boosting selection of essential oils create a beautiful aromatic experience.

Uma: More than just an exquisite scent, Pure Love Perfume Oil ($125) is a 100% organic fragrance oil formulated with the most romantic and uplifting Ayurvedic botanicals that create balance and a highly elevated sense of well-being. The exquisitely crafted bottle is an homage to the meticulous craftsmanship and care that goes into harvesting and creating each drop of perfume oil.

Bevel: The innovative men's grooming brand has launched a mattifying scalp moisturizer formulated for melanated skin to help moisturize, mattify, and prevent sunburn. Bald Balm with SPF 25 ($14.95) quickly absorbs into skin for easy application without an oily mess.

Zum Lab: Four new body washes made with plant-packed ingredients like natural plant oils and vitamin E that cleanse and moisturize skin. Scented with essential oil blends of Frankincense-Myrrh, Sea Salt, Geranium-Patchouli, and Eucalyptus-Spearmint, all priced at $10.
