Amethis Europe Expansion invests in HB Aesthetics, a European player in the professional cosmetics market.
WHO: Founded in 2014 by Raphaël Chauchard-Rios, a French entrepreneur, HB Aesthetics (HBA) designs and distributes high-end dermocosmetic products intended mainly for professional distribution (dermatologists, clinics, beauty institutes, and spas). Based in Vilafant, in the heart of the Spanish cosmetic valley, the company is vertically integrated with internal R&D structure, production capacity, and training centers. HBA’s products are currently distributed in over 60 countries, and exports account for more than 95% of sales, most of which are made in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
The company has two brands. Fusion Meso offers a range of sterile serums to be used with various devices (microneedling, electroporation, microcurrents, ultrasound, etc.) and skincare products based on active ingredients from aesthetic medicine. Ekseption is a brand based on the properties of natural organic acids such as BHA, AHA, PHA. The complete line of professional peels and at-home skincare products to be used before and after professional treatments.
WHY: HBA is entering a new phase of growth supported by strategic and financial support of this investment. The company intends to accelerate its development by diversifying its distribution channels and markets, focusing on Africa and the Middle East, while continuing its penetration of the Asian, European, and North American markets, thanks to Amethis’ support. In parallel, HBA is building a new facility five times larger than the previous to absorb its future growth.
