Amyris has been quietly winding down Terasana Clinical amid restructuring and bankruptcy. Amyris acquired the brand in 2021 and relaunched it last summer.

WHO: Terasana was a natural skincare brand that is 100% vegan, cruelty free, and untouched by harmful chemicals. Terasana was the first acquisition of a brand by Amyris. It expanded its portfolio of brands into the CBD space. The brand was relaunched on Amazon and DTC as Terasana Clinical in August 2022 with a hero product Clear + Control Healthy Skin Serum, designed to clear and balance the skin and formulated with two of Amyris' sustainably sourced ingredients, squalane and cannabigerol (CBG).
