Not long after it made peace with a billionaire activist investor, Bath & Body Works is switching up its C-suite. Upon closing on the acquisition of the Tom Ford brand, Estée Lauder announces leadership appointments.The Estée Lauder Companies' acquisition of the Tom Ford brand closed, kicking off with the appointment of key hires. Guillaume Jesel was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the brand. Jesel, who has led Tom Ford Beauty since 2014 will have oversight across all verticals, reporting to Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Executive Goup President, and Tracey T. Travis, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.Peter Hawkings will step into the role of Creative Director, most recently holding the position of Senior Vice President of Tom Ford menswear. His responsibilities will include oversight of womenswear, menswear. and accessory categories, assuming the role of lead designer for the fashion segment and fashion shows. Hawkings will report directly to Jesel and Tom Ford Fashion's CEO when that person joins.David Boynton has stepped down as CEO of The Body Shop after five years. Ian Bickley, a Natura &Co board director, is taking over as interim CEO and will help in the search for a permanent successor. Bickley previously served on Natura &Co’s board committee dedicated to The Body Shop, as well as acting as an adviser.Bath & Body Works CFO Wendy Arlin will leave her position by July 29. Arlin became CFO in August 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller for L Brands. A search firm has been engaged to help identify her replacement.
