Times of Israel reported that parent company L Brands signed an agreement with Tel Aviv-based Delta Galil and a European franchise partner to open 20 Bath & Body Works stores and seven Victoria’s Secret branches. According to Delta, it will be responsible for opening the two chain stores and for operating their online sales sites in Israel.

“In Israel, Victoria’s Secret is a beloved brand. There’s a lot of excitement in the country about this,” Inbar Schwartz, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Delta Galil, told WWD. “And Bath & Body Works is a little less well known, but we think it’s a great brand and a great franchise and we have no doubt the Israeli public will take to it as well.”

The franchised stores are tentatively set to open in the back half of 2021, and it will be the first time L Brands will have freestanding Victoria’s Secret or Bath & Body Works stores in Israel.
