Réduit, French for “reduced,” is the first part of the WellFully group of companies, whose mission is to create solutions in the luxury beauty and well-being space that enable consumers to live smarter, more sustainable lives. The brand made its debut early in the year at CES 2020.
The beauty technology brand Réduit, spearheaded by former Foreo CEO Paul Peros, has a launch strategy as innovative as the product itself. The brand will introduce and ship a new product every week from now until October 2020, kicking off with its first two products: its revolutionary Hairpods treatments and the “Réduit One” applicator device.
The foundation of the range is the proprietary Magnetic Misting technology. Developed by world-class experts in precision delivery systems, this technology enables the Réduit One to create a unique magnetic field, amplifying absorption and allowing each active ingredient to penetrate deep into the hair. The Réduit One applicator device converts specially optimized formulas into a super-fine magnetic mist with particles 50 times smaller than traditional droplets and delivering treatments 38 times more effective than traditional topical solutions while generating 20 times less waste.
Réduit products are formulated by concentrating actives and refined without secondary ingredients, thickeners, and emulsifiers. The smaller package reduces both chemical and plastic waste as well as the carbon footprint. Each single 5ml Réduit Hairpod delivers the same number of applications as 100-200 ml of traditional products. The packaging is fully recyclable through the brand’s return & refurbishment program, ensuring that both the formula and delivery systems have the lowest possible environmental impact.
Réduit Founder and CEO Paul Peros said: “Réduit is bringing true innovation to the beauty and hygiene space, giving consumers a new way to get significantly better results in less time with less waste. Each week, we will be revealing more about what Réduit never-before-seen technologies can do, with a whole range of new products coupled with exciting promotions. We will also be sharing the inspiration behind our innovation, providing an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at exciting new product concepts, and opportunities to engage with the brand over its extended launch period.”
Peros continued, “In the beauty industry, huge amounts of even the best products go to waste every single day through drying, crystallizing, or simply being wiped off the skin or hair without ever doing what they are designed to do. At the same time, these ingredients actually hinder the performance of active ingredients and generally tend to worsen the consumer experience, making the product ‘heavy’ to wear. Réduit’s technology ensures every drop of product matters, by making them 38 times more effective than traditionally applied beauty and hygiene treatments. Réduit is the French word for ‘reduced,’ and this reflects exactly what we are doing with our products. We reduce waste, amplify results; reduce time, amplify efficacy; reduce steps and amplify beauty.”
The Réduit One applicator device is $199. The first Hairpods to be released are the Precision Conditioner ($24.90) and the Vapored Strength ($34.90). The products will be available on the brand website, CurrentBody, and Amazon Launchpad, as well as at a selected number of high-end department stores.
