Biotech skincare brand Reome closed a first round of fundraising led by Rianta Capital.WHO: UK-based biotech skincare Reome was founded in 2023 by former beauty editor, consultant, and board-certified TCM practitioner Joanna Ellner with a single product, Active Recovery Broth, a serum balancing the yin and yang of bioferments and biomimetics. Two additional products followed the cleanser: Three Suns Balm and Aerate Face Towel. The brand has a pipeline of 21 additional products and is carried at SpaceNK, Liberty, and Moda Operandi.Founded in 2006, Rianta Capital is a family office of New Look founder Tom Singh based in Switzerland that provides investment advisory services and management support to trust funds and investment companies. WHY: The investment allows the business to expand its product offerings, creating new ingredients with biotech partners, wholesale distribution, and direct-to-consumer business.
