Bogart Group has acquired six new selective fragrance boutiques in Belgium, bringing their retail footprint to 357 own-brand stores in five countries.

WHO: Bogart Group specializes in the creation, manufacture, and commercialization of luxury fragrances and cosmetics. With a unique market positioning as a manufacturer-distributor, the Group markets its products in more than 90 countries, and holds a network of 357 own-brand stores in five countries (France, Israel, Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg).

WHY: The transaction will enable Bogart Group to strengthen its presence in the north of Belgium, a region where it was previously underrepresented.

DETAILS:

• Bogart Group has strengthened its foothold in Flanders via the acquisition of six fragrance boutiques belonging to the Pascal/Inverko chain.
• These fragrance boutiques will be rebranded as Planet Parfums, the No. 2 selective retail chain in Belgium. All existing stock will be taken over, together with most of the store staff (19 employees).
• In 2018 Bogart Group posted revenues of €164.7MM and pro forma revenues of €308.3MM.
