Boho Green, the French eco-friendly makeup brand, has been acquired by family-owned natural and organic beauty company Léa Nature from Alter Equity.
WHO: Founded in 2012 by Hanane Bourimi and Vincent Riberi, Boho Green is a pioneer of organic makeup. Boho Green offers a wide range of makeup with organic and natural formulas, at affordable prices. The products are mostly certified organic or natural and carry the Cosmebio label. “Unnecessary” packaging has been banned and the packaging is largely composed of cardboard and wood from responsibly managed forests. Boho Green is a member of the worldwide movement and philanthropic organization “1% for the Planet,” and since 2016 supports the Nicolas Hulot Foundation for Nature and Man. The company employs 10 employees; its products are marketed mainly in organic stores (in particular Biocoop and La Vie Claire), pharmacies, and parapharmacies, as well as in e-commerce and export.
Léa Nature is an independent French company founded in 1993 by Charles Kloboukoff with the aim of making natural and organic certified products that are kind to people and the environment and available to everyone.
