British skincare brand BeautyPro has made its second acquisition, snapping up natural skincare brand Skin Sapiens. WHO: Founded in 2018 by James Jardella, Skin Sapiens was founded on the knowledge that transparency is crucial to the effective care of sensitive skin. The brand offers gentle skincare solutions using natural ingredients and sustainable practices. It is certified by The Vegan Society and recognized by ECOCERT and the Soil Association.Founded in 2010, BeautyPro disrupted the professional beauty industry with a unique portable hot towel steamer to create a compact solution for mobile therapists and salons. The company built on the success with the launch of sheet masks in 2011, expanding the range in 2014 to include more SKUs and a barber-focused range.WHY: The acquisition will support BeautyPro’s growth plans, with the business on track to hit its eight-figure revenue target in 2025.IN THEIR OWN WORDS: Founder James Jardella commented, “Skin Sapiens was founded on the knowledge that transparency is key to effective sensitive skincare.
