Catalus Capital-backed CC Wellness has acquired the liquid product line from sexual wellness manufacturer Shibari. The deal does not include the toy segment of the business.
WHO: Shibari is a manufacturer of sexual wellness products based in Valencia, California. The company has one of the top-selling lubricant brands on Amazon.
Founded in 2003, CC Wellness is a recognized leader in FDA 510(k) premarket certification and a top-tier pharmaceutical company specializing in developing Class II medical devices as well as cosmetic, OTC, and organic products. The company also has a portfolio of consumer brands—#LubeLife, JO, and Muse Health.
