The L’Oréal group is rationalizing its brand portfolio by selling two of its lesser-known brands—Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc dermatological spa center and cosmetic brand Decléor—to French group Cospal. WHO: Founded in 1807, the Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc thermal spa is located in France’s Rhône-Alpes region. Mont Blanc’s pure water is protected by a unique ecosystem known for its naturally soothing and beneficial properties recognized for over two centuries. Its dermatological spa center attracts over 100,000 visitors a year. In 2012, the range of Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc products was launched using 100% Mont Blanc thermal spring water and natural extracts of alpine plants.
