Now David and his team are expanding to control the brand experience all the way through fulfillment. Pirrotta was not impressed with the way most third-party logistics centers housed his brand’s product, so he set out to solve the problem.

Much more than a warehouse, this all-inclusive 3PL is much more than a warehouse—it’s a boutique experience. Built from the pain points Pirrotta experienced in his own encounters with large 3PLs set up for low-touch high-volume shipping, he set out to create more than just a transient space for stock but rather a trustworthy home for a brand’s precious inventory.

“Integrity has always been the cornerstone of my business endeavors and relationships, and while a 3PL is perhaps far less sexy than the products themselves, I’ve made it my goal to craft a 5-star B to C journey for each and every product, so that the fruits of my clients’ labor are in the hands that they deserve,” Pirrotta explains.

Inventory is housed in a way where clients can come in and spot check it at a moment’s notice. The space is temperature-controlled to protect the intentional, delicate ingredients in his clients’ products so they aren’t compromised and arrive to each customer perfectly preserved as intended. Shifting inventory is inevitable, but there will be no nickel-and-diming for the service. It means respectfully executing the precise details from each client related to packing and shipping and using sustainable materials whenever possible.

“3PL’s have a history of being a life-sucking overhead expense, but I’m trying to change that,” Pirrotta shares. He’s always zeroed in on brands he believes in, uplifting them and giving them life, expansion, success, and a platform. His 3PL warehouse is no different. “I’m selective about the brands I house, and the honor and compassion I share with them trickles down to customers who religiously purchase these products and rituals.”

For Pirrotta, this latest endeavor is truly about quality over quantity; integrity of relationships and a beautiful experience both win over sheer volume, each and every time.
