Key Takeaways:

  • Dermalogica launches a PRO Community digital hub for skin therapists in the UK, Ireland.
  • Platform offers peer-to-peer support, business growth resources, and expert-led discussions on skin science and innovation.
  • Initiative extends Dermalogica’s mission to educate and connect industry professionals.

Dermalogica, the professional-grade skincare brand trusted by more than 100,000 skin therapists in over 80 countries, has built its reputation on education and innovation. Founded by skin therapist Jane Wurwand, Dermalogica was created not only to deliver high-performance products for healthy skin but also to advance the profession through skills-based, hands-on education. That commitment to professional development and industry collaboration remains central to the brand’s mission.

Now, Dermalogica is extending its reach with the launch of its PRO Community, a digital hub designed by and for skin therapists. Set to become the United Kingdom’s largest skincare therapist network, the platform will connect professionals across the UK and Ireland to share expertise, exchange advice, and promote collaboration.

Hosted on the online Circle platform, the community will provide peer-to-peer support on Dermalogica products and treatments, business growth resources, and expert-led discussions on ingredient innovation, trends, and skin science. It is built to be a supportive environment where therapists can feel connected and empowered.

“Our ambition for the community platform is to create the most connected professional skincare network in the industry—a space built by skin therapists, for skin therapists,” said Cirsten Hannken, General Manager at Dermalogica, in a press release. “Here, education, innovation, and peer-to-peer support come together to elevate our profession and empower every skin therapist to thrive.”

The PRO Community is an extension of Dermalogica’s investment in education. In 1986, Wurwand opened the International Dermal Institute (IDI) in California. Today, with 37 locations worldwide, IDI is considered the gold standard for postgraduate skin and body therapy training.

Unlike the brand’s in-person training, which focuses on technical skill building, the online community emphasizes collaboration and connection among experienced professionals. Members can engage in real-time discussions, ask questions, and share insights, all through a seamless platform.

With single sign-on integration via Dermalogica’s PRO site, users can log in with existing accounts, access the hub via web, or use the Circle app.

In the future, Dermalogica plans to expand the PRO Community by introducing live events, expert-led courses, and exclusive content, thereby growing the network of skin therapists in the region.
