Digital Beauty Studio Beaubble Raises $2 Million in Seed Funding

The community-driven digital beauty studio that launches brands and products with talent raised over $2 million in funding.

WHO: Beaubble was co-founded by Jordan Lim, HeeKyeong Seo, and Jorge López in 2018 to empower influencers and consumers to collaborate and launch more personalized brands and products.

The company's mission is to bring about truly inclusive, community-driven beauty, democratize the product development process, and become a "full-stack" platform and service provider in beauty. Beaubble is a brand incubator that uses an "open studio" product development model. It is also a consumer-facing brand building a community platform that facilitates conversations around beauty. And it is a social commerce platform that enables D2C sales for the brands they co-create and serves as a marketplace powered by shoppable content of other digital-first beauty brands.

The first Beaubble co-founded skincare brand was Monday Born, created with longtime beauty influencer and vlogger Teni Panosian, which launched in March 2020. Upcoming collaborations include a line with model Elsa Hosk and content creator Ellie Thumann.

  • Beaubble has raised over $2 million in seed funding with Bling Capital leading the round, with participation from Graph Ventures, Goodwater Capital, Steve Chen, co-founder and former CTO of YouTube, and others.
  • All Beaubble products are made in Korea.
