Experienced Capital Partners entered into beauty acquiring a 51% stake in Swedish brand L:A Bruket. The Paris-based fund was founded in 2016 by Frédéric Boiousse, Emmanuel Pradère, and Elie Kouby. This transaction also represents its first in a foreign company and its second where the fund has taken a majority position.
L:A Bruket, founded in 2008 by Monica Kylén and Mats Johansson, offers a range of 100 products manufactured in Sweden and inspired by Swedish spa traditions. The company recorded sales of 5 million euros in 2018 with distribution in 50 countries. The investment will allow the brand to accelerate its digital development and distribution.
“The DNA of L:A Bruket is at the heart of what creates brand success: conveying emotion with meaningful products. We are certain that this brand, which has global potential, is ideally positioned to accelerate and pursue a strong growth trajectory,” the founding trio of Experienced Capital said in a press release.
