As the last days of summer are all but a distant memory, so too are the fragrance releases in a state of transition. Aloe is proving an unconventional yet inviting ingredient, from Nomenclature’s warm release to Choice Blooms’ floral creation. Amber and patchouli feature heavily among the biggest launches of the season, from Guerlain’s Paris-inspired nighttime creation to Dominique Ropion’s oud-focused fragrance for Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle. Here are the launches to accompany fragrance consumers into the autumn season.
David Beckham: Amber Breeze is the latest addition to the footballer’s fragrance lineup. Inspired by the uplifting experience of watching a sunset, the warm eau de parfum is an ambery, aromatic scent with top notes of rosemary, cardamom, and black pepper as well as heart notes of lavender, rose, and nutmeg, and a base of Georgywood, patchouli, and tonka bean.
Ellis Brooklyn: Dear Sky, described as an ode to the American West, is a fruity floral scent that opens with rhubarb, honeydew melon, and strawberry leaf. Its heart contains notes of tuberose and white peony, while the base notes are a musky and slightly green combination of upcycled cedarwood, galbanum, and ambrette.
Will Levis: No8Parfum de Mayonnaise, produced in collaboration with Hellman's Real Mayonnaise, is NFL quarterback Will Levis’ love letter to the condiment, inspired from an X post in which he admitted to adding a touch of the ingredient in his coffee. The scent’s notes include lemon, parsley, a mayonnaise accord (naturally), plus coffee, musk, and vanilla to round out the daring creation.
DKNY: 24/7 is an eau de parfum inspired by the relentless energy of New York City, housed in an hourglass bottle to reference the continuous flow of time. The fragrance, created by Frank Voelkl, opens with an energetic blend of rhubarb and Quincester, a Firmenich captive with a tart, crisp facet of quince, and pink pepper. Its floral heart is comprised of rose, tuberose, and jasmine, while base notes include sandalwood, Ambrox Super, and upcycled musk.
Veronique Gabai: Created by perfumer Amandine Clerc Marie, Délices des Bois combines a base of cedarwood, Dreamwood, and sandalwood with a fig and jasmine heart for a creamy and comforting creation.
Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle: Hope is the latest Middle East-inspired creation for the house by Dominique Ropion as part of the house’s Desert Gems collection. An ambery, woody scent, it combines fresh and spicy cypress, juniper, and pink peppercorn with incense and vetiver—plus the showstopping natural oud that builds the centerpice of the sophisticated creation.
Ex Nihilo: Perfumer Jordi Fernández created a scent inspired by high- speed racing with Speed Legends Night Drive. The unisex fragrance is a woody, amber scent that opens with an invigorating blend of sage, bergamot, ginger, and pink pepper, followed by a sensual body of labdanum, blackcurrant, patchouli, tonka bean, vetiver, and Amberwood.
Henry Rose: A reimagining of the original Jake’s House scent, Jake’s House B.V.I. adds a coconut accord to the original musky floral scent. Design to evoke the British Virgin Islands’ seaside, the scent also contains notes of musk, white amber, and peony.
Guerlain: Patchouli Paris, an ode to nights in the French capital created by Delphine Jelk, is built around an overdose of its namesake ingredient, enhanced in its woody, earthy accents with musky notes and sandalwood. The carmine-red bottle also comes in a collector’s plate edition, created in collaboration with feather worker Valérie Tanfin, featuring a black and red plume.
Bond No. 9: Described as a celebration of Manhattan’s artistic heritage and reinvention of white musk for the 21st century, Bond Number One is a floral woody musk scent created by Vincent Schaller. Perfumer H: Saddle is a warm and sensual scent alluding to a leather saddle conforming to the contours of the body over time. Its top notes include aldehyde and bergamot, while its heart contains orange flower absolute and Egyptian jasmine absolute. The base notes are comprised of benzoin, vanilla absolute, amber, and Indonesian patchouli.
Hermès: Barénia, created by in-house perfumer Christine Nagel, is a chypre fragrance (the first of this fragrance family for the house). It opens with miracle berry (a fruit native to West Africa, also known as the Synsepalum dulcificum) and bergamot. Its heart contains white ginger lily, while patchouli, oak, and Akigalawood build the base.
Mugler: Two additional flankers have been added to the brand’s Angel line-up: Angel Fantasm and A*Men Fantasm, both in striking black star bottles and created by Jacques Huclier and Louise Turner. Dior: The latest addition to the La Collection Privée range, Ambre Nuit Esprit de Parfum contains an amber blend, cardamom, and cinnamon, in a highly concentrated perfume extract formula. The perfumer behind the creation is Francis Kurkdjian.
Nina Ricci: Creative Director Harris Reed has reinvigorated the house’s fragrance offerings with the launch of Vénus, an ode to Botticelli’s Venus. Nathalie Lorson, Alexandra Monet, and Olivier Cresp (who worked on the original Nina scent and its flanker range for the house previously), created the scent, which contains notes of magnolia, vanilla, and white patchouli.
Versace: Eros Energy, inspired by the Mediterranean coast, is an enlivening citrus creation with the addition of blood orange, grapefruit, lime, lemon and tangerine. The middle of the scent is composed around blackcurrant, white amber, and pink pepper, with base notes of oakmoss, musk, and patchouli.

Fulton & Roark: The American fragrance brand is releasing two new scents for the autumn season: The Window and Roark’s Cove. The Window is an aromatic floral scent with lavandin, desert air accord, gravel ghost accord, ylang ylang, along with saffron and leathered woods in the base. Roark’s Cove, inspired by a bicycle ride through a Tennessee forest, is a woody scent with oak, cedar, and tree moss. Its opening is bright and fresh thanks to pear leaves and cloudberries, while its base intensifies the scent with tonka bean.
Liis: Of True Minds is inspired by Shakespeare’s Sonnet 116, an ode to enduring love. After all, it’s title is “Let me not to the marriage of true minds.” The amber scent opens with amaretto and nutmeg, followed by a heart of orris and suede, ending on notes of patchouli and labdanum.
BORN TO STAND OUT: The South Korean beauty brand has debuted three sensual scents for fall: Naked Laundry, Filthy Musk, and L'Animal. Its notes include Ambrinol, skatole, caramel, honey, milk, and tonka bean absolute. Filthy Musk is an amber vanilla fragrance by Margaux Le Paih Guérin. As the name implies, it's not afraid to get down and dirty, containing an animalic musk in its top, heart, and base notes. Additional components include pineapple, jasmine, nutmeg, ambroxan, and civet for a sweet yet carnal encounter. L'Animal, an amber vanilla scent by Cecile Matton, makes an olfactory tribute to human desire with a boozy and spicy opening of rum and nutmeg, followed by a soft heart of suede and heliotrope. Its base consists of an intoxicating blend of honey, sandalwood, vanilla, and gaiacwood.
Laboratorio Olfattivo: Oud in White is an amber floral by Julien Rasquinet. It opens with fruity notes of pear and raspberry, plus warm ginger, before settling into a more sensuous and deep combination of Cambodian oud, jasmine, osmanthus, and labdanum.
