Cosmoprof North America (CPNA), the largest B2B beauty exhibition in the Americas, is getting ready to host its 19th edition July 12th-14th at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in Las Vegas, NV. The number of pre-registered visitors and new attendees is noteworthy with 40+% being first-time attendees, proving the beauty industry's strong desire to return to in-person events. Between finished products in the West Hall and beauty supply chain suppliers in the North Hall, Cosmoprof North America will host over 1,100 exhibiting companies.

"With a renewed sense of optimism, people are excited to travel once again and registrations are looking to reach prepandemic levels," said Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof. "The Americas are a strategic market for business development of beauty brands, being the cradle of new trends and new consumer habits, and international operators are more and more interested in discovering the novelties of Cosmoprof North America."

Discover Black-Owned Beauty

This new section curated with the assistance of The Beauty International Group (BIG) will be a resource for Black-owned beauty brands seeking access to market opportunities, educational resources, retail distribution, and brand exposure. The area will also support retailers looking to execute their commitment to the "fifteen percent pledge" call to action.

Adrienne Mason and Maria Torres from BIG said of the partnership, "We couldn't be more excited to join Cosmoprof in an effort that will shine a needed and intentional light on black founders, while also providing them with the tools to thrive in the beauty industry. Discover Black-Owned Beauty will showcase the efficacy of black entrepreneurs whose innovative beauty products answer the needs of all shoppers. Black-owned companies, for decades, have pushed culture and set trends without proper access and applause."

GlossPitch Competition

For the second year, GlossWire will be hosting a pitch competition for brands exhibiting at the show. For anyone interested applications can be submitted online or at Booth 53008 in the Beauty Tech Section at Cosmopack during the show hours. The three winning grants include a 3rd place prize of $1,000, a 2nd place prize of $2,000, and a grand 1st place prize of $5,000, as well as hands-on business guidance and mentorship to help their business.

"The GlossPitch Competition focuses on what I feel passionately about, elevating new brands in the beauty space who have a distinct point of view and passion for storytelling," said Kimberly Carney, GlossWire CEO and Founder. "From the contestants' viewpoint, the opportunity to receive feedback from leaders in technology and beauty, as well as the overall exposure they receive at Cosmoprof North America in Las Vegas, is a priceless addition to the prize money that the winners will be able to reinvest in their growing brands and businesses."
