Harvey Nichols

Jo Hansford and her team of experts will offer a full range of haircare and beauty services in the Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge flagship store in November 2021.

Celebrating her 28th year in business, Jo Hansford has been described as the “first lady of color,” and her salon nestled for over two decades in the heart of Mayfair is known as one of the leading hair color salons in the world. With a team of more than 50 staff, she has developed her business to be an epicenter for some of the most talented and innovative stylists and color technicians in the UK. In November 2010, Jo was recognized for her dedication with an MBE for outstanding service to the hairdressing industry.

“The last year has given us the opportunity to carefully consider our customers and their expectations of Harvey Nichols,” said Manju Malhotra, Harvey Nichols’ Chief Executive Officer. “The Jo Hansford approach, which is to offer clients beautiful, glamorous, and wearable hair in a luxury salon environment, feels perfectly aligned with our customers. Both businesses are renowned for delivering outstanding customer service and bringing the two together presents a fantastic opportunity.”

This partnership further reinforces Harvey Nichols position as the leading destination in London for exceptional beauty experiences and expertise.

Joanna Hansford, Managing Director, Jo Hansford London, also commented, “Harvey Nichols and Jo Hansford are both synonymous with luxury, heritage and an incredibly loyal client base. Sharing the same core values, this is a natural partnership and we are absolutely delighted to be Harvey Nichols’ salon of choice in the heart of Knightsbridge. We are incredibly excited to open our second London salon with such a trusted and admired retailer, and look forward to creating a beautiful, luxury destination salon. We cannot wait to welcome our first customers in November.”
