Goat Brand Labs has raised $50 million in fresh funding as the Indian direct-to-consumer brand aggregator looks to acquire more premium brands and help them scale globally.
WHO: Goat Brand Labs was established in 2021 by Rishi Vasudev, a former Flipkart executive, and Rameswar Misra, who previously founded menswear brand Turms and served as Senior Vice President of female fashion e-commerce marketplace Voonik. Goat acquires DTC lifestyle brands with annual revenue from $2 million to $10 million, providing the resources required to accelerate their growth.
WHY: The fresh capital will be deployed to acquire several more brands to help them scale globally. It is in advanced discussions with 12 brands.
