Clean indie beauty brand Lilah B. is set to wind down its business by the end of the year.

WHO: Founded by beauty industry veteran Cheryl Yannotti Foland in 2015, Lilah B. launched as a range of clean, high-performance multipurpose products at a prestige price point, eventually expanding into skincare.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS: "I am sad to share that we have made the difficult decision to close Lilah B. by the end of the year," Foland shared in an Instagram post. "My labor of love has run its course. I am so grateful for our Lilah B. community of friends. Your love and support over the past seven years is what continues to inspire me and what has kept us going even through challenging times. I thank you all."

  • Lilah B's distribution spanned Sephora, Net-a-Porter, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Blue Mercury, and Anthropologie. 
  • According to Crunchbase, Lilah B. raised a total of $3.8 million since launching in 2015. Most recently, the business closed a $3 million series A in 2020.
