IBG, the Innovative Beauty Group owned by Albéa, acquired Los Angeles–based Roberts Beauty to fuel growth plans.
WHO: Founded in 1979 and headquartered in Los Angeles, Roberts Beauty is a privately owned full-service provider specializing in custom-designed packaging and turnkey solutions.
Innovative Beauty Group (IBG) was a division created by French packaging conglomerate Albéa to address the need for speed-to-market and turnkey solutions. It is comprised of two acquired businesses—Orchard Custom Beauty, a full-service beauty product provider, and Fasten Packaging. IBG has a global team of 300 beauty experts to deliver turnkey, private-label, and packaging solutions across product categories.
WHY: This acquisition reflects IBG’s strategy of building extended ecosystems of partners and specialists to access specific market segments and regions.
