Buzzy nail brand Chillhouse has a new owner as Kiss Beauty Group acquires the business.WHO: Chillhouse founder Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton opened the first location in New York City in 2017 with the goal of “modernizing the spa industry.” The nail studio and self-care destination with its SoHo flagship rose to prominence during the COVID-19 pandemic when salon closures forced the brand to expand into branded products and at-home nail alternatives such as press-ons. The products are distributed nationwide through Target, Walmart, CVS, Urban Outfitters, Amazon, and hundreds of specialty retailers.Founded in 1989, Kiss Beauty Group claims to be the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of salon-quality nails and lashes. Kiss Beauty Group has fostered a handful of hero lines, including Impress, Red, Falscara, and Kiss Colors and Care, distributed in a wide variety of retailers spanning 100 countries, from CVS to Ulta Beauty and Boots in the UK.WHY: Kiss Beauty Group will provide operational infrastructure, global reach, and growth capital.IN THEIR OWN WORDS: “Chillhouse has built something truly distinctive in nail care—a brand with cultural credibility, creative design leadership, and a deeply engaged consumer community,” said J. Paul Yang, Chief Strategy Officer of Kiss Beauty Group. “Our decision to acquire the company reflects our belief in its compelling vision and in Cyndi’s leadership as we plan for 2026 and beyond.
