Black British-owned business Nala’s Baby, a naturally clean range of skincare and haircare for babies and children, lands investors from the worlds of fashion, sport, and music to fuel expansion in supermarkets across the UK.
WHO: Co-parents rapper Krept (one half of Krept and Konan) and influencer Sasha Ellese Gilbert launched Nala’s Baby during lockdown in 2020. The range of products has been created to cater to the needs of newborns through childhood, formulated with 99 to 97 percent naturally derived ingredients. The brand is available at Boots, Amazon, Tesco, Morrisons, and Ocado.
IN THEIR OWN WORDS: Dunn and Dion Sincere Lizzy, both investors in Nala’s Baby, commented, “We are proud to support a brand with a strong message and core beliefs. We think it’s important to take things back to the roots and make products as natural as possible, especially the products used to nurture our future generation.”
