What is the one thing you wish someone had told you?
I wish someone had told me just how early collagen loss begins—often as early as your mid-twenties—and how critical it is to start supporting your skin before the signs of aging become visible. But more personally, I wish I had discovered the power of QMS products and facials much earlier in my own skincare journey. If I had known then, what I know now about the clinical performance of our collagen technology and the transformative results of our treatments, I would have started using QMS years sooner and would not have exposed myself that much to the sun, never forgetting to put on my SPF 365 days a year. It’s not just about correcting damage; it’s about prevention, protection, and giving your skin what it needs before the first fine lines even appear. That insight has shaped not only how I care for my own skin, but how passionately I advocate for early, science-backed skincare through QMS. Because when you truly understand the science, you realize aging beautifully starts long before the mirror shows it.
What would you tell your past self before starting this journey?
I would tell myself: It will take more patience and resilience than you can imagine—but it will be worth it. Building a brand like QMS Medicosmetics, grounded in science and integrity, with limited marketing resources, is not the easy path. Our key investments have always gone into the quality of our products—into research, innovation, and clinical efficacy—not flashy campaigns. And while that choice makes growth slower, it also makes it real and lasting.
I’ve learned that even the most effective products need a clear, authentic story. Results speak—but only if people know where to listen. I’d remind myself that it’s okay to grow steadily, to stay true to the mission, and to lead with substance, not noise. And on a more personal note, I’d say: start using QMS sooner. If I’d known how much of a difference our formulations and facials could make, I would have begun years earlier. Aging prevention is powerful, and this brand truly delivers it—quietly, but remarkably.
What does success look like in the next 3-5 years?
Success for QMS means stepping confidently from being a well-kept industry secret to becoming a globally recognized leader in science-backed skincare. Over the next 3-5 years, our focus is on international expansion—bringing the power of our clinically proven collagen innovations to key markets including the US, China, and the Middle East.

What's one industry trend that is overhyped, and what's being overlooked?
One trend that’s clearly overhyped is the constant chase for the “next miracle ingredient.” The industry loves buzzwords—whether it's the latest exotic extract or trending molecule—often without meaningful clinical backing or long-term efficacy. It creates noise but not necessarily results.
What’s being overlooked, however, is the power of proven, foundational skincare science—like collagen. While collagen is often mentioned in marketing, its complexity, structure, and the science of absorption are rarely understood or properly addressed. At QMS, we’ve made it our mission to go deeper, advancing collagen innovation with real research and next-generation formulations that the skin can actually recognize and use. The future isn’t about chasing trends—it’s about refining what truly works, and educating consumers on the difference between marketing claims and scientifically validated results. How do you think the industry needs to evolve?
The beauty industry needs to shift from hype to honesty. Consumers are more informed than ever—and they deserve brands that respect that intelligence. The industry must evolve toward greater transparency, clinical validation, and education, moving away from overpromising and underdelivering.
There’s also a need to rethink how innovation is defined. It’s not about launching dozens of new products every year, but about investing in meaningful advancements—like ingredient delivery systems, skin-identical formulations, and personalized care based on real skin science.
And importantly, the industry needs to make results—not trends—the standard. That means more emphasis on long-term skin health, preventive care starting at a younger age, and treatments that support skin function rather than just surface-level fixes.
