Beauty conglomerates look for efficiencies as they continue cutting while making leadership changes.Shiseido revealed plans to cut around 200 jobs in its home market as part of its early-retirement program, "Next Career Support Plan." As part of its "Beauty Reimagined" restructuring plan, the Estée Lauder Companies has shuttered its Bucharest technology hub, laying off 150 staff.Retail Dive reported that Sephora completed a reorganization of its US marketing department, which impacted 27 roles. Affected individuals were given the opportunity to apply for new roles.KDC/One has proposed closing its long-standing Swallowfield cosmetics manufacturing site in Wellington, Somerset, and consolidating production to its Irvine facility in Scotland. This move could affect more than 250 roles.Alberto Noe, currently the Interim CEO of the Shiseido Americas Region, will assume the full CEO position for the region on 1 January 2026. Noe will also continue in his role as CEO of the EMEA Region. Shiseido has seen a significant leadership shuffle at the Japanese beauty conglomerate, with Mizuki Hashimoto and Yosuke Tojo named as Corporate Executive Officers. Several Executive Officers have resigned, with Tomoko Ikeda, Chief Brand & Product Innovation Officer; Angelica Munson, Chief Digital Officer;  Yoshiaki Okabe, Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer; George Sugitomo, Chief Creative Officer; Atsunori Takano, Chief Information Technology Officer; and Shinji Wada, Chief People Officer exiting the company at the end of the year.
