Rem3dy Health, the parent company of personalized nutrition brand Nourished, closed $18.7 million in funding.

WHO: Founded in October 2019 by Melissa Snover, Solution Rem3dy Health, the UK-based company behind the 3D-printed nutrition brand Nourished, has developed a proprietary manufacturing platform that leverages 3D printing to produce personalized vitamin gummies. The process involves a seven-layer nutrient "stack" customized based on a customer-completed online questionnaire. This questionnaire covers health goals, lifestyle, diet, and age, allowing for a highly personalized supplement blend. The company has scaled its production to approximately 500,000 personalized gummies per day. This is achieved through a combination of automation and artificial intelligence, integrated into manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and output. Rem3dy holds 29 patents related to its technology and manufacturing processes, underscoring its commitment to innovation in this space.

Launched in January 2020, Nourished is the company's personalized gummy vitamin brand. Nourished products are available through major UK retailers such as Boots, Holland & Barrett, and Ocado, as well as thousands of pharmacies across Europe.

WHY: The investment will support international expansion into the United States, India, the Middle East, and North Africa.
