THE ORGANIC PHARMACY OPENS NEW MARYLEBONE CONCEPT STORE

The Organic Pharmacy has opened a new experiential retail concept in the Marylebone neighborhood of London, known as a destination for design-led living. The new concept provides a showcase for the brand’s pioneering organic approach to wellness, integrating discovery with service in a vibrant, modern space. The strategy was to create a healing space where people feel safe.

Designed with a palette of white accented with The Organic Pharmacy’s signature colors, the new destination was created to offer innovative experiences for humans and their canine companions. The lower ground floor is dedicated to spa services that take place in secluded, calming treatment rooms, with an open space dedicated to larger-scale events and yoga practice.

Another Story brought the new concept to life, saying of the project, “When designing The Organic Pharmacy, we wanted to modernize the look of their previous stores, and incorporate a more clean design, with fun touch-points and interactive experiences. We thought it was so important for there to be a clear customer journey around the pharmacy, with their wide product range. We created zones using pops of color to display the different lines, and consistently used round shapes to create a common theme. Within the store we used mostly sustainable materials, mixing different textures such as aluminum chequer plate and glass shelving.”

Juice Bar: Luscious green plants decorate the area where guests can choose from a menu of teas and freshly made juices they can enjoy as they explore the store.

Water Station: Staying hydrated is the key to good health. The Hydrate and Refill section provides water on tap for customers to top up their own bottles or branded bottles available for purchase.

Hand Wash Station: The greenest handwashing station in London is located in the center of the store, where guests can relax on a circular bench and try products using circular mirrors that are suspended from the ceiling.

Refill Station: A dispensary that creates a fun interactive way for guests to restock and refill products, reducing packaging waste.

Facial Station: For a fast facial, choose from the menu, sit back, and relax.

Consultation Pod: The semi-private area provides a comfortable space for people to chat, receive consultations, research on iPads, or scan QR codes to unlock exclusive brand content.

Make-Up Station: A relaxing and calm space for guests to play with The Organic Pharmacy makeup range.

Dog Area: Dogs are welcome to enjoy a bit of water, an organic biscuit, and a space to create a customized canine Instagram moment.

While online has been crucial, the brand said “You can’t get a facial online or a massage and you can’t get your health assessment online—there are times when as humans we need to recharge our energies and treatments are scientifically proven to boost wellness and the immune system. Looking after ourselves is very much a necessity now not a luxury. Health is Wealth—that’s our motto.”

The Organic Pharmacy brings together an in-house team of specialists, homeopaths, pharmacists, and therapists who offer a wide range of branded products, services, and health assessments. The brand intends to roll the concept out internationally.
