Tubex Holding GmbH, based in Rangendingen, Germany, has acquired the Hungarian packaging manufacturer Matrametal Kft. 

WHO: Matrametal is a manufacturer of aluminum packaging with more than 60 years of experience. The company produces aluminum aerosol cans and aluminum tubes in Sirtok, Hungary.

Tubex has been a packaging specialist for aluminum aerosol cans, aluminum tubes, aluminum cartridges, and plastic tubes for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, and technology markets for more than 70 years.

WHY: Following the acquisition, the seven production sites of Tubex Group will have a capacity for 700 million aerosol cans and 1.6 billion aluminum tubes.
