Antoaneta Becker is Director of Consumer Economy at the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC), where she advises British and international brands on navigating China’s fast-changing consumer landscape. With more than 20 years’ experience living and working in China, her expertise spans consumer behaviour, culture, retail and market-entry strategy, particularly across luxury, beauty, fashion, food and lifestyle.

A former Beijing-based journalist and analyst, Antoaneta continues to write on consumer and cultural trends in Asia, with a particular focus on the region’s evolving fragrance and beauty markets. Fluent in Mandarin, she holds degrees in Chinese Language and Literature from Peking University.
