Key Takeaways:

  • Amorepacific positions skincare as a predictive longevity system at CES.
  • Skinsight uses wearable sensor technology and MIT-developed AI to deliver skin intelligence.
  • Beauty converges with health tech through connected diagnostics, devices, and closed-loop care ecosystems.

At CES 2026, Amorepacific is making a clear statement about the future of beauty: skincare is becoming a fully integrated, data-driven longevity system. The K-beauty giant unveils Skinsight, a next-generation “electronic skin” platform that reframes skin analysis as a real-time health intelligence layer rather than a static diagnostic tool, positioning beauty squarely inside the global health-tech and wellness-tech conversation.

Recognized as a CES Innovation Award Honoree in the Beauty Tech category, Skinsight has been co-developed with researchers from MIT and represents a significant leap in traditional skin scanners. Using a thin sensor patch applied directly to the skin, the platform continuously measures multiple aging signals influenced by exposome, lifestyle, and environmental stressors. These real-time biological signals are processed through AI to predict future aging patterns and generate hyper-personalized care recommendations, moving skincare from reactive maintenance to predictive longevity management.

The technology reflects a broader shift happening across the global beauty industry from product-centric routines to intelligent, adaptive systems that evolve with the user. Rather than simply identifying wrinkles or dryness, Skinsight tracks how skin behaves across different environments, creating a dynamic, living data profile that allows care protocols to change “moment by moment,” as Amorepacific frames it.

Alongside Skinsight, Amorepacific is also debuting its AI skin analysis technology in partnership with Samsung Electronics through their new AI Beauty Mirror. Using camera-based optical diagnostic data from more than 450,000 cases, the system evaluates pores, pigmentation, redness, and wrinkles, then recommends tailored routines and devices based on individual skin conditions. These insights feed directly into Amorepacific’s luxury beauty device brand makeON, including the ONFACE LED Mask, equipped with 3,770 micro-red LEDs, and the Skin Light Therapy 3S, creating a closed-loop ecosystem that links diagnosis, device-based treatment, and product guidance into one continuous experience.

This integrated approach marks a notable evolution in how prestige beauty brands are positioning themselves. Rather than selling isolated tools or products, Amorepacific is building a holistic skin longevity platform that mirrors advancements in digital health, biohacking, and precision wellness. These areas have traditionally lived far outside the cosmetics aisle.

"Amorepacific aims to lead the global beauty and wellness industry with holistic longevity solutions," said Hyojung Joo, Head of Digital Strategy Division at Amorepacific, in a press release. "Building on the innovative technologies and products showcased at CES, we will continue to deliver integrated beauty experiences to customers worldwide."

The brand’s CES presence underscores how quickly beauty is moving into a future defined by predictive diagnostics. Skincare is about managing skin as a long-term biological system rather than relying on current fixes for visible concerns.

As beauty increasingly converges with health technology, Amorepacific’s CES 2026 showcase positions the company not just as a K-beauty innovator but also as a key architect of the emerging skin longevity economy.
