Amorepacific’s new retail experience is a mashup of trends: self-care and body care meet personalization and immersive retail. Combining R&D research and robotic technology, the brand is creating customized “bath bombs” on the spot.

Shoppers complete a quick questionnaire to determine preferences and benefits, then the bathbot goes to work producing a bath bomb from a range of 14 bathing agents, including various scents and colors. The whole process takes about 2 minutes to make, and customers can watch as the robot makes their customized bath bomb in a clean environment.

Options include Sweet Floral, Forest Herb, and Lavender, infused with argan oil and sweet almond oil to revitalize tired skin. Products come in eco-friendly, recycled paper packaging. The bathbot service will be offered at Amore store Gwanggyo in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon, South Korea.

Amorepacific continues to deliver optimized solutions to customers through customization and technology.

Last May the service launched exclusively at IOPE Lab, the brand’s flagship store located in Seoul’s downtown Myeongdong shopping district.
