Jupiter started with a simple question: Why does dandruff care still feel like a punishment? While the rest of beauty upgraded—cleaner ingredients, sleeker packaging, science-backed everything—scalp care stayed stuck in the past. Harsh. Medicinal. Embarrassing. Especially for women, whose relationship with hair runs deep.
So, we created Jupiter—the cleanest dandruff brand on the planet. A line of premium, proven formulas that treats flakes with the same love and standards as skincare. No more hiding bottles in the shower. No more choosing between a healthy scalp and beautiful hair.
We know the struggle because we lived it. Jupiter was started by people who spent years battling dandruff, dry scalp, and oily scalp—and were done settling for solutions that didn’t work or didn’t feel good to use.
We believe scalp care is self-care. That efficacy shouldn’t come at the cost of experience. And that women deserve better than compromise.
Crafted with board-certified dermatologists, powered by science, and made to feel as good as it works, Jupiter is where medical-grade meets modern beauty. Because the bar for scalp care has been way too low for way too long. We're here to raise it—beautifully.

Why now and why you?
There isn't a hotter category than scalp care at the moment, and we'd like to think we're a small reason for the interest and focus. Since our inception in 2020, Jupiter has been at the forefront of the conversation, pushing what dermatologists and stylists have known all along: Great hair starts at the scalp.
What fuels your competitive advantage?
We always return back to two basic principles: product performance and customer experience. Our formulas combine clinically backed, proven ingredients without the unnecessary fillers, preservatives, or synthetics that can negatively impact hair health. We address your scalp issue and deliver you healthy, gorgeous, head-turning hair at a reasonable, affordable price.
What’s your proudest accomplishment to date?
We've had a few exciting moments—multiple appearances on The TODAY Show, getting into over 1,200 Target stores nationwide, fielding orders from some of the world's biggest celebrities —but the thing that really has us beaming with pride is the love letters from our customers.
What is the one thing you wish someone had told you?
Success doesn't happen overnight nor is it guaranteed. It comes from a series of hardships, tough decisions, and showing up every (damn) day to grind.
What would you tell your past self before starting this journey?
Carve out time on a regular, weekly basis to reconnect with and appreciate your partner/spouse/significant other.
What does success look like in the next 3-5 years?
We want to become the #1 recommended scalp health brand for women looking to address a scalp condition, with 20%+ unaided brand awareness.
What's one industry trend that is overhyped, and what's being overlooked?
Overhyped: personal opinion only, but the science behind colostrum seems fairly dubious.
Overlooked: scalp care! Yes, it's being discussed frequently, but I/we still believe we're still in its earliest days of adoption.
How do you think the industry needs to evolve?
Faster, cheaper, and more standardized systems for showing proof of efficacy.
If you could wave a magic wand, what one wish would you make for your business?
