Move over croffles, Negronis, espresso martinis, and mullets. Yelp has made its predictions for 2023, tapping its team of data scientists, community, and trend expert Tara Lewis to see what trends are about to flood social feeds. Trends were surfaced by diving into millions of searches looking for the words, phrases, and businesses that saw significant interest between 2021 and 2022. Some of Yelp’s predictions? Get familiar with butterfly haircuts, swap your cycling workout for a stretch class, and grab a paddle for pickleball, to name a few.
