Earlier this week, powerful Santa Ana winds fueled a growing number of wildfires that spread rapidly across Los Angeles. The Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Altadena were hit the hardest, with numerous homes, businesses, and landmarks destroyed. Thousands of homes have burned to the ground, and at least 130,000 residents are displaced and under evacuation orders. Experts warn locals that the threat is ongoing, with Los Angeles County remaining under a red flag warning through Friday night.
While it's too soon to calculate the toll of the devastating wildfires, community organizations and disaster relief agencies have already begun mobilizing to provide shelter, food, and aid to those affected.
